We have found really cool ways to become involved in these initiatives, while still fulfilling our vision – To have fun!!!
Georgina Cares Fund
The Georgina Cares Fund provides funding to children up to the age of 15, who live in the Town of Georgina, to take part in extra-curricular activities or for special needs when their parents/guardians cannot afford to do so.
We have donated items for their television auction fundraisers and have participated in their KidsFest events!
Beauty Night Society – Because Dignity is Beautiful
Beauty Night Society (BNS) heals marginalized women and youth by teaching them tools to integrate into our communities. This award-winning registered charity believes everyone is entitled to dignity and respect. Best known for it’s makeover program, this volunteer run not for profit has given over 10,000 makeovers thanks to 400 volunteers in 8.5 years.
We are proud to support Beauty Night Society in it’s mission to help women get back on their feet and look forward to being a part of their growth in the coming months!
KIVA – Loans that change lives
Kiva’s mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty.
Kiva is the world’s first person-to-person micro-lending website, empowering individuals to lend directly to unique entrepreneurs in the developing world.
We have a crazy passion for entrepreneurship and believe everyone should experience the thrill of starting, molding and achieving the results that owning a small business can bring.
With that in mind, Foundation Studio pledges to donate $25 from every Platinum Blog purchase to a KIVA Entrepreneur.
